Saint John Regional Jubilee Mission

Reminder: Bishop Riesbeck will preach a three-day Jubilee Mission on the theme “Rejoice in Hope” beginning tonight, Monday, March 31, until Wednesday, April 2, 6:30 – 8:30 pm each evening at the Cathedral. The Bishop will speak on our need for hope, the relevance of Jesus as the anchor of hope, and the role of the Holy Spirit as the agent of hope. Each evening begins with Mass followed by a teaching; along with the rosary on Monday, Adoration and Reconciliation on Tuesday, and commissioning prayers and a reception on Wednesday.

For Pope Francis as he continues to serve the Church in his illness and frailty.

For Bishop Christian and all who will join him, seeking hope, during the Jubilee Year Mission.
We pray to the Lord.

For our country, and all countries, enduring threats or attacks and for the many people who suffer the consequences.
We pray to the Lord.

For family members who no longer look to God for direction or join in our parish Masses.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren as they face many challenges in school and the community.
We pray to the Lord.

For the many people who are ill at this time and in need of our prayers and support.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Anthony (Tony) Dowd, Robert Ayles, Marguerite Noel, Azor Saulnier, Dorothy Brown, Annette Curbishley, Neill MacDonald, Arthur & Diana Doucette, William Melanson, Anna Marie Cummings, Jacki Arsenault; and for families in mourning.
