Prayers Of The Faithful – March 22

For Pope Leo and the whole Church: that we may conclude this week with contrition and confidence in God’s forgiveness, and with gratitude to share in the events and liturgies of Holy Week.
We pray to the Lord.

For the millions of persecuted Catholics and all who suffer for their faith in Jesus.
We pray to the Lord.

For families in need of forgiveness and healing and friends and family members who are away from the Church and Sacraments.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially families with children and isolated seniors, who are unable to find affordable housing and food.
We pray to the Lord.

Faced with rising tensions and the risk of escalating war, we invite the People of God in Canada to pray for peace.
We pray to the Lord.

For the sick and for the dying and their families and caregivers.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Betty Kiervin, Nicholas Soppitt; and for families in mourning.
We pray to the Lord.

Prayers Of The Faithful – March 15

For Pope Leo and the entire Church, that in confessing our blindness and sin we may receive the Light of God from Jesus.
We pray to the Lord.

For the Church throughout Canada that we my learn from St. Joseph to protect vulnerable life and family life as we celebrate his feast on March 19th.
We pray to the Lord.

For our parish families that we may be freed and forgiven of any prejudice that prevents us from welcoming the stranger and the sinner to be refreshed and forgiven by Christ.
We pray to the Lord.

For our family and friends of Irish descent as the world celebrates the Feast of St. Patrick, the secondary Patron of our Diocese.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor throughout the world who will receive from the generous response to the Development and Peace offering.
We pray to the Lord.

For the sick and for their families.
We pray to the Lord.
