Cereal Drive

This is the last weekend (February 21 & 22) to contribute to the “Our Daily Bread Cereal Drive” in memory of former religious education student Maggie Nugent. We are looking for boxes of cereal, which can be placed at the front of the church near the Baptismal Font. Your donations will be delivered to St. Francis-Hazen White School.

Prayers Of The Faithful – February 22

For our Holy Father and all the Bishops and Priests that they will be strengthened by God’s Grace when they are tempted by the world as Jesus was tempted in the desert.
We pray to the Lord.

For Christians who are tempted to follow the spirit of the times instead of trusting in God’s providence and Jesus’ saving death.
We pray to the Lord.

For leaders of nations that they will work for peace and laws that do not disadvantage the poor and powerless.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren, that they may learn how to be truthful and just and to ask for God’s help when they feel weak or tempted.
We pray to the Lord.

For any who are ill and for their families and caregivers: that they might not become discouraged and hopeless but draw strength from Christ each day.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Bonnie Harley, Charlie Monaghan, Chantelle Doiron, Rheal Richard, Robert Quinlan; that God will embrace them with His loving Mercy.
We pray to the Lord.
