Prayers Of The Faithful – April 28

For Pope Francis, Bishop Christian and all Pastors who seek to unite people to Christ, the True Vine, and to His Church.
We pray to the Lord.

For our Parish Family as we are renewed and humbled by the beautiful faith of our 26 young children who are receiving their First Holy Communion this weekend.
We pray to the Lord.

For the families of our First Communicants, that they will continue to support them and accompany them to the Lord’s Table to receive Him in Holy Communion.
We pray to the Lord.

For families facing financial challenges and for people dealing with addictions and mental illness in their family.
We pray to the Lord.

For the safety of workers as we celebrate St. Joseph the Worker.
We pray to the Lord.

For the success of the many efforts and projects being undertaken to help the poor, the homeless and drug users.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who are ill and those awaiting tests and surgeries.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Frederick Joyce, Anne Marie McCaig, Dena Dunphy, Brian McHugh, Marcos McLean; as we commend them to the Love and Mercy of our Risen Lord.

For Pope Francis, Bishop Christian, all Bishops and Priests who have been called to be Shepherds for Christ’s faithful.
We pray to the Lord.

For our world, weary of war and division, looking for Shepherds to lead them to Christ.
We pray to the Lord.

For Father Owen Burns, our Vocations Director, and for all who pray for and foster Vocations to the Priesthood, Religious Life and the Permanent Diaconate.
We pray to the Lord.

For the members of the Catholic Women’s League in our Parish and throughout Canada and for their work for the Church.
We pray to the Lord.

For young men and women to hear the call to serve the Church and for families that support them and pray for them.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially families with children.
We pray to the Lord.

For any who are ill and in need of our prayers.
We pray to the Lord.

For persecuted Christians and for the many who face the prospect of martyrdom for their faith in our Risen Lord.

For all in need of the liberation that comes from the Divine Mercy and for the grace to forgive those who sin against us.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially families and children, who suffer most from the greed in the marketplace and for a change in how the world’s goods and food are shared.
We pray to the Lord.

For anyone who is ill and in need of our prayers.

We invite you to attend Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 5:30 pm. Mass & Novena follow at 5:30 pm.
