Prayers Of The Faithful – March 14

For Pope Francis, who brought hope to the people of Iraq, as he continues to draw attention to the kidnapping of young girls and women to be sold into slavery.
We pray to the Lord.

For Church agencies at work in poor and hostile countries and for generous support of the Collection for Development and Peace.
We pray to the Lord.

For our country as we celebrate the feast of our patron St. Joseph and for his intercession for families as government and culture challenge the authority of parents to teach and protect children.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family as we celebrate the feast of St. Patrick, our secondary patron, and for all people of Irish heritage.
We pray to the Lord.

For workers and small business owners impacted by COVID 19 and for families and seniors still living with so many restrictions.
We pray to the Lord.

For anyone who is ill at home or in hospital, especially those awaiting surgery or undergoing treatment for cancer.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Sister Thérèse Kergoat SCIC, Phyllis Donkin, Edmund Parks, Real Deschenes, Paula Melanson, Tammy Lanteigne, Bunnie Campbell; that they may enjoy refreshment, light and peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.
We pray to the Lord.
