For Pope Francis and Bishop Christian who lead our Church in proclaiming joyfully that Jesus is born and lives among us.

For Canada, that she will once again hear the news of the birth of Jesus who brings life and peace to dispel the darkness of death.

For our children and grandchildren who remind us and teach us of the wonder of Jesus’ Birth and how to welcome Him with joy.
We pray to the Lord.
For the poor and homeless who first received the message of the angels that Christ was born and who shared what little they had with the Holy Family who were homeless and migrants.
We pray to the Lord.
For the safety of all who are travelling this Christmas and for those who are working today and those away from family.
We pray to the Lord.
For all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, that they may find hope and healing in the Good News of Jesus’ birth.

For those who have died: Sharon Ann Lyons, Marc Rocca, Wanda Pugh, Barbara Burns, Doreen Williams; and for people who are mourning the loss of someone who died since we last celebrated Christmas.
