Prayers Of The Faithful – February 6

For Pope Francis and for his February prayer intention asking Catholics to pray for religious sisters and consecrated women as they continue in their mission with courage.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian that God will strengthen him in the work Jesus has given to him through the apostles and may God give our Bishop peace and joy as he celebrates his birthday this week.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who are ill and suffering and for all heath care workers and chaplains as we observe World Day of the Sick on February 11th.
We pray to the Lord.

For a lessening of tensions throughout the world and for the safety of our athletes and their fellow Olympians.
We pray to the Lord.

For a strong recovery from pandemic illness and harsh sanctions and a removal of all barriers that have kept people apart.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially families and elderly, so deeply affected by the cycle of inflation and profiteering.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Sister Pat Riley, SCIC, Marie Spencer, Kelly Gates, Mary Devine, Theresa Cullinane, Margaret Norwood, Albert Arseneault, Mickey Verner; and for their families and friends.
We pray to the Lord.
