Prayers Of The Faithful – July 17

For Pope Francis who will begin his pastoral visit to Canada next Sunday and for the many thousands of people who need to hear his message of healing.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family of faith that our daily task of encountering Christ will enable us to bring Christ to people who need Him.
We pray to the Lord.

For the safety of migrants and refugees and for the many countries experiencing turmoil and chaos.
We pray to the Lord.

For workers whose wages cannot keep up with inflation and greed and for families and seniors who worry about having enough food or fuel this coming winter.
We pray to the Lord.

For people burdened by illness and for people who are losing hope during these difficult times and for families suffering the effects of addiction.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Bill Ballard, Cecily Cormier, Gerry Tait, Lori Campbell, Carmen Smith, Delores Arseneault, Paula McDonough, Wayne Murphy, Cindy Bastarache, Kevin Marsden; and for people who mourn the death of someone they love.
We pray to the Lord.
