For Pope Francis and the leaders of all Christian Churches as we begin the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family as we are reminded that Mary, the Mother of Jesus, intercedes on our behalf.
We pray to the Lord.

For couples preparing for, or considering, the Sacrament of Marriage, the sign of Jesus’ love for the Church.
We pray to the Lord.

For a strengthening of family life and for respect for the authority of parents and their duties to their children.
We pray to the Lord.

For families facing continued pressure from increases in the cost of food and shelter fuelled by profits and greed.
We pray to the Lord.

For any who are sick, at home or in hospital, and for all who have asked us to pray for them.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Diana Richard, Ann Mae Whittaker, Theresa McCann, Vera Templeton, Doreen Ward, Susan Bastarache, Judith Foss, Stephen Kelly, Margo Legere; and for families in mourning.

For our country during a time of political change and uncertainty.

For our children and grandchildren who are returning to their Religious Education classes and for their teachers.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor and homeless, especially families, facing the added challenges of winter and extreme cold.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who are ill and for their families and caregivers.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: David Peabody, Jim Morrison, Norman Boucher, David McNeil, Phyllis McGrath, Joan Worden, Patricia Gionet, Kerry McBrearty, Reyale Richard, Kimberly Ann Barry, Jeremy Robichaud; that they will enter into the fullness of the promise made to them in Baptism.
