For Pope Francis as he concludes his visit to Belgium.
We pray to the Lord.

For peace throughout the world as we remember the life and words of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Theresa, the Little Flower.
We pray to the Lord.

For workers who are held in slavery throughout the world and for workers denied a fair wage and safe working conditions.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren as they begin another year of Religious Education and for the safety of all children as we celebrate the Holy Guardian Angels this week.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially families and children who bear the greatest burden that comes from greed in the marketplace.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who are ill and for their families and caregivers.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Charles Dorey, James A. Legere, Odeo Dionne, Art McGarity, Bruce Harrigan, Ghislaine Roussel, Sheila Sullivan, Grace McLean, Mary Louise Davidson; and for families who mourn them.

For Pope Francis and the Church and the work of the current Synod of Bishops.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and the Bishops of Canada and for their ongoing efforts of reconciliation and for all who will benefit from your generous support of their yearly appeal.
We pray to the Lord.

For the many members of our Parish who serve us through our ministries and organizations and especially for our Religious Education teachers.
We pray to the Lord.

For families and especially those who are pressured by financial concerns or family strife.
We pray to the Lord.

For any who are ill, at home or in hospital, and for people in our nursing homes and special care homes.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Hugh Mitchell, Dr. Emmanuel Basque, Mary (Barry) Reeves, Sandra Cameron; and for their families.
We pray to the Lord.
