Prayers Of The Faithful – March 13

For Pope Francis, as he begins his tenth year as Bishop of Rome, that he will continue to condemn war and aggression towards other nations and prayerfully encourage the Church to respond to the needs of refugees with great charity and compassion.
We pray to the Lord.

For the millions of refugees from Ukraine, separated from families, lacking basic necessities and for those who remain behind and unable to escape the terror.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family as we celebrate the feast of St. Patrick, secondary patron of our Diocese, and seek his intercession in helping to draw us closer to God during this Lent.
We pray to the Lord.

For every person among us, in our city and country and beyond whose livelihood and health are threatened by the spiraling cost of goods and the greedy who take advantage of them.
We pray to the Lord.

For each person and family that is affected by physical illness, mental challenges, and the demons of addiction.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Doone Overing, Denise Robichaud, Marcia Koven, Oscar Arseneault, Ila “Sam” Logan, Clifford Christie, Frank Stevens, Bernadine (Bernie) Robinson; and for each person and family who mourn the death of someone they love.
