Prayers Of The Faithful – November 28

For Pope Francis, Bishop Christian and all the Bishops as they lead our Catholic family around the world in the beginning of Advent, a season of hope and anticipation.
We pray to the Lord.

For people in Canada beginning to recover from loss of homes and livelihood, and mourning the loss of loved ones, from recent storms and natural disasters and for all first responders.
We pray to the Lord.

For our new Parliament and all who have been elected to serve Canada’s citizens, that they will truly help the poor and powerless and respect the rights of parents and the integrity of families.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who live with physical, emotional or mental challenges and for their caregivers and therapists and families as the Church prays for all disabled persons on December 3rd.
We pray to the Lord.

For our families and friends of Scottish ancestry and for Christians of the Orthodox Churches as they both claim and celebrate St. Andrew as their patron on November 30th.
We pray to the Lord.

For each person who has asked us to pray for them and for the special needs and intentions you have brought today.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Edward Keoughan, Deborah Dicks, Irene Belliveau, Connie Janes, Jerry Hurley; and for their families and friends who mourn them.
