Prayers Of The Faithful – June 13

For Pope Francis as he seeks to mediate understanding and forgiveness in nations confronting the sins of their history.
We pray to the Lord.

For the children who died in the former Kamloops Indian Residential School and for all those impacted by this tragedy, that there may be healing founded on truth and that the Spirit will inspire our ongoing commitment to reconciliation.
We pray to the Lord.

For people persecuted and hated for their faith, especially for the Muslims of London, Ontario as they mourn the death of four members of one family.
We pray to the Lord.

For all parents who are challenged every day by loss of employment and rising costs and who must stand strong against social and government imposed counter values.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren as a school year concludes and for continued prayer for them to encourage and support them each day in everything that they do.
We pray to the Lord.

For seniors and those who are ill and still endure isolation and hardship from pandemic restrictions and for those working to provide everyone with the necessary vaccinations.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Sharon McIvor, Gordon Robichaud, Madeleine Steele, Pauline Breen, Joe Mallet; and for families that must wait to gather for funeral rites and family support in their loss.
