Prayers Of The Faithful – February 28
For Pope Francis, as he prepares for his pastoral visit to Iraq and for the church in Iraq that is threatened with extinction.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family as we continue our Lenten prayer and discipline.
We pray to the Lord.
For workers and volunteers throughout the world who work to bring development, education and health care to poorer countries.
We pray to the Lord.
For people who live and work under pandemic restrictions and for the many people working to provide vaccination against COVID.
We pray to the Lord.
For the health and safety of our children and grandchildren and for all students as they begin their March break.
We pray to the Lord.
For people who are ill in hospital or at home and for the residents of extended care and nursing care facilities who are separated from family and close friends.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Bill Gregoire, Bill Morrow, Amanda Golding, Mavis Wisted, Gerard Mills, Mary Anne Wells, Peter Creamer. And for their families and friends who mourn them.
We pray to the Lord.
