Prayers Of The Faithful – May 9
For Pope Francis as the Church helps to bring relief from the Pandemic to the poorest countries in the world.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian, one of nine leaders of the international and Ecumenical Novena to the Holy Spirit which begins Thursday.
We pray to the Lord.
For families as the Church in Canada prays that the life of Jesus may be at the centre of family life for every family.
We pray to the Lord.
For our mothers, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, that God will richly bless our mothers and grandmothers who are still living among us and that he will embrace in love those who have gone to be with Him in Heaven.
We pray to the Lord.
For our City of Saint John as we conduct elections, that those elected will be mindful of the weakest, and most vulnerable among us.
We pray to the Lord.
For anyone who is ill at home or in hospital or in nursing and long term care facilities and for people living with chronic or life threatening disease.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Sister Charlotte Vickers, George Carvell, Hal Killam; that Mary, our Mother, may bring them swiftly to Her Son in the presence of God the Father.
We pray to the Lord.
