Prayers Of The Faithful – June 16

For Pope Francis, Bishop Christian and all who are called to lead Christ’s Church on earth.
We pray to the Lord.

For our fathers and grandfathers, that God will bless those who are among us and embrace those who have entered eternity.
We pray to the Lord.

For all Christian men, that they may imitate St. Joseph in protecting their families and the vulnerable.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren who are graduating from High School this week.
We pray to the Lord.

For all school graduates that they will embrace a future marked by hope and be open to God’s help and inspiration.
We pray to the Lord.

For each person who has asked us to pray for them and for all people in need of our prayers.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Anne Marie Green, Yolanda Robichaud, Patricia Portigal, Gerald McGrath, Brian Merzetti, and Elizabeth Ann Cochrane (Mother of Fr. Joe); that our Risen Lord will hold them close to His Sacred Heart.

For persecuted Catholics, especially those in China, who refuse to deny their faith in Christ and His Church.
We pray to the Lord.

For the growing number of homeless and hungry people in our country, victims of greed and profits.
We pray to the Lord.

For families overwhelmed by the addiction to substances or behaviours by one or more of their loved ones.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who are ill at home or in hospital and for seniors who are shut-in or alone.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Helen O’Connor, Eldon Brigley, Evelyn Cook, Joe Coughlan; and for their families.
