Prayers Of The Faithful – July 26

For Pope Leo and the Church throughout the world.
We pray to the Lord.

For Grandparents and the Elderly: that the Church will seek their wisdom and counsel and that they will receive pastoral care and spiritual attention in their times of need.
We pray to the Lord.

For our Parish and Diocese: that we will always be grateful for the faith and sacrifices and example of previous generations.
We pray to the Lord.

For families: that elderly family members be gratefully included in family life and for elderly people who have no living family members or who have been forgotten or abandoned.
We pray to the Lord.

For all the sick and for their families and caregivers.
We pray to the Lord.

For the many elderly people awaiting placement in homes for the elderly and infirm and for all who work in health care.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor and for people and church agencies who work to assist them.
We pray to the Lord.
