Prayers Of The Faithful – August 17

For Pope Leo and all the Bishops and Priests of the Church.
We pray to the Lord.

For an end to conflict between nations and for the recovery of the victims of war and starvation.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor and for the growing numbers of homeless people.
We pray to the Lord.

For families, and especially for expectant mothers, and for their unborn children.
We pray to the Lord.

For our Parish as we mark the Feast of St. Pius the Tenth this week and for frequent reception of Holy Communion by our children and grandchildren.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who are sick and awaiting treatment or surgery.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Gregory Mackin, Robert Alexander, Richard Arseneault, Melvin Hooper; and for people who mourn them.
