Prayers Of The Faithful – November 10
For Pope Francis, a constant advocate for Peace and for the welfare of civilian victims of war.
We pray to the Lord.
For Peace in the world as we remember the many thousands of Canadians who gave their lives in war.
We pray to the Lord.
For the safety of all members of our armed forces and for the health and welfare of their families often separated from them.
We pray to the Lord.
For our children and grandchildren growing up in a world of increasing conflict and aggression.
We pray to the Lord.
For the poor, especially families and children.
We pray to the Lord.
For people who are sick and for all who have asked for prayers.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Sr. Anne Somers, SCIC, Elsie Hooley, Aimee Clifford, Peter Garnett, Helen Hayward, Micheline MacDonald; and for our relatives and friends we have remembered in our Book of Remembrance.

For Pope Francis and the whole Church as the current session of the Synod of Bishops concludes this weekend.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family, that we will always look to Christ to teach us forgiveness and mercy.
We pray to the Lord.
For our children and grandchildren and for the safety of all children, especially those who are studying away from home.
We pray to the Lord.
For people living with addictions to alcohol or drugs and for their families who are suffering with them.
We pray to the Lord.
For people in hospital and for anyone awaiting surgery, treatment or diagnosis and for all health care workers.
We pray to the Lord.
