For Pope Francis as he encourages each of us and the whole Church to overcome our resistance to following Jesus on the Way to the Cross.
We pray to the Lord.

For all victims of war and natural disaster and for those who bring aid and those who work for peace.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family as we enter fully into the time of Lent and encounter Jesus together.
We pray to the Lord.

For families and especially for parents who face many obstacles in raising their children in our faith and tradition.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially children, and for church groups who feed the hungry and provide shelter to the homeless and refugees.
We pray to the Lord.

For any who are ill and seek the consolation and healing of faith.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Mathilda Ward, George Hamilton, Eileen Underhill, Anne Marie Hatty, Violet Legere, Mary Gallagher; and for people who mourn them.
