Prayers Of The Faithful – February 8

For Pope Leo, Bishop Christian and all who lead our Church as Jesus challenges us to be salt and light for the whole world.
We pray to the Lord.

For negotiated solutions to the needless warfare around the world and for the millions left homeless, injured, sick and without proper clothing against the wet and cold as a result.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who are sick among us, and for the Lord’s sick around the world as we commend them to the loving prayer and care of Our Lady of Lourdes on this World Day of the Sick.
We pray to the Lord.

For healthcare workers and for families who provide care for aging, ill or challenged family members.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who provide Spiritual Care in our hospitals and institutions and for a generous response from men and women whom God is calling to serve in this vital ministry.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Michael O’Dell, Gerry Britt, Donald Childs, Donald Ouellette, Rose Marie Prokipczuk.

For Pope Leo and for his prayer intention: that children suffering from incurable diseases, and their families, receive the necessary care and support never losing strength and hope.
We pray to the Lord.

For the peacemakers in our world, who indeed are blessed and needed every day in every land.
We pray to the Lord.

For our Bishop and our Diocesan Church as we continue to renew our parishes by our ongoing revitalization.
We pray to the Lord.

For men and women in the church who have vowed to live by the Evangelical Counsels and follow Christ each day.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially families, who suffer the most from trade and tariff conflicts.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who are ill and for those who are lonely and discouraged.
We pray to the Lord.
