Prayers Of The Faithful – May 28
For Pope Francis and the whole Church, that the Holy Spirit will enlighten and guide us as the Church responds to emerging challenges in our ever changing world.
We pray to the Lord.
For the world, where many loud and angry voices call for war and attacks on human life, that the Holy Spirit may open ears and hearts to hear the voice of Christ, our Risen Saviour.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family of faith, that the Holy Spirit will continue to encourage us and give us hope as we work to evangelize and renew.
We pray to the Lord.
For the poor, especially families and children, who cannot afford proper food and nutrition or adequate and safe shelter.
We pray to the Lord.
For all who are ill, at home or in hospital, and for caregivers, health care workers and first responders.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Marion Fitzpatrick, Paula Woodworth, Kay Losier, Dr. Lornie MacDonald, Rita Darrah, Alec Tays, Elaine Gallant, Leonard Gilliland, Blondine Vienneau; that our Risen Lord will embrace them and give peace to their families.
We pray to the Lord.
