For Pope Francis as he regains full strength and as he prays for the recovery of the whole world from violence and greed.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who are committed to finding the paths to reconciliation and truth for all generations to follow together.

For Bishop Christian and our whole Diocesan Family as we emerge from pandemic restriction and as we ask God to use us in restoring His people to hope and health in mind and spirit.
We pray to the Lord.

For parishes who will welcome new pastors as they give thanks for the service of the priests who will be leaving them and for the priests who will move on August 4th, the feast of their patron, St. John Vianney.
We pray to the Lord.

For our beloved and beautiful New Brunswick as we celebrate New Brunswick Day and ask God for continued blessing along its rivers and valleys and coastlines and borders.

For each person who has asked us for prayers and for people seeking health in mind and body and for their families.

For those who have died: Sheila Lester, Helen Gallant; as they meet God face to face and for their families and friends who mourn them.

For Pope Francis who is often the only voice speaking for the poor and refugees and victims of the whole world while some nations and the wealthy seek only to increase their power.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and all the Canadian bishops as they try to keep the country’s focus on truth and reconciliation as they work with aboriginal peoples.
We pray to the Lord.

For aboriginal people as they try to educate us about the terrible cost of the policy of assimilation.
We pray to the Lord.

For our relatives and friends in the United States as they celebrate their national holiday.
We pray to the Lord.

For the safety of all who are undertaking travel again and for happy and safe reunions of families and for healing prayers and rituals among those who will finally bury family members who have died during the past year.
We pray to the Lord.

For anyone in need of our prayers today, especially those whose physical or mental health has declined during the long isolation and separations during the pandemic.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Donald Richardson & John Ford; that they will be welcomed into Jesus’ loving embrace.

For Pope Francis who continues to be the voice of faith, hope, charity and reconciliation in a world of division and conflict.

For our country, Canada, that we may give thanks for the blessings and bounty God has bestowed on her and be encouraged as we face the challenges and needs of today.
We pray to the Lord.

For Indigenous peoples who seek healing from the effects of our government’s policy of assimilation and for the Christian communities who ask forgiveness for their role in this tragedy.
We pray to the Lord.

For the constant intercession of Saint Joseph, patron of our country and patron of the universal church, as we face policies that threaten human life and the family.
We pray to the Lord.

For the safety of our children as they start summer vacation and for continued progress against the pandemic.
We pray to the Lord.

For each person in need of our prayers.

For people living with cancer and for their families and caregivers, and for people who work to find a cure for this disease.

For a continued successful program of vaccination as we work together to end the power of the pandemic over our lives.

For the poor and hungry, especially children, and for the generous people who have tried to provide for them under the current difficult situation.

For Pope Francis, Bishop Christian, Monsignor Henneberry and all priests and deacons as we recall Jesus’ gift of the Priesthood to the Church.

For Catholics throughout the world unable to receive Holy Communion this Holy Thursday and Easter because of pandemic restrictions or the shortage of priests to serve them.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who have become separated from our faith community and the Eucharist, especially members of our families, that they may once again join us at the Lord’s Table.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor and homeless, for widows and orphans and for sick and discouraged and lonely people, that we may provide for them as we are able in imitation of Christ’s example of humble service.
We pray to the Lord.

For people you have carried here in your heart and in your memories, and for each of you and your particular needs.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died, during this past year, that God will gather them at the Banquet Table in Heaven.
