Prayers Of The Faithful – December 5

For Pope Francis on his apostolic visit to Cyprus and Greece and his advocacy for refuges and homeless families.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian as he marks the second anniversary of his installation as our bishop on December 9th.
We pray to the Lord.

For our Diocesan family of faith as we celebrate our Patron, Mary, under her title of the Immaculate Conception on December 8th and as we also conclude the special Year of St. Joseph and continue to seek the parental care of Mary and Joseph.
We pray to the Lord.

For so many people still deeply affected by flooding and loss of their homes and for our country and the whole world as we brace for another wave of Covid infections.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor and hungry, especially those who will benefit from your generosity this Christmas.
We pray to the Lord.

For our seniors, for people who are ill and shut in and for those who are feeling discouraged or hopeless during these days.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Mike Devlin, Mark Cosgrove, Alfred Savoie, Viola Beamish, Jeanne Keating; and for each family and person who mourns the death of someone they love.
We pray to the Lord.
