Prayers Of The Faithful – November 27

For Pope Francis as he renews and strengthens the Church’s efforts to provide for the poor and suffering of the world.
We pray to the Lord.

For the Church throughout the world, as we begin Advent, a time of renewal and preparation for every Christian and a chance to turn our attention away from the empty promises of the world.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and for the men who are praying about his invitation to consider service in the permanent diaconate.
We pray to the Lord.

For Monsignor Henneberry as he marks his birthday this week and we ask God’s blessings for him in his service to us.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially families, and for the people who respond so generously to our parish appeal to assist them.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren and for young people who feel overwhelmed by the demands of our society and culture.
We pray to the Lord.

For any who are sick and in need of our prayers and for people who live with mental illness, especially at this time of the year.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Gen Tozer, Kathleen “Kay” Risk, Paul Cormier, Muriel Smith, Alice Harris, Jacques Ferguson, Diane Carr, Gunter Hoellwarth; and for their families.
We pray to the Lord.
