Prayers Of The Faithful – April 24

For an outpouring of the Divine Mercy upon those who wage war and kill innocent civilians and children in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Southern Africa and the Middle East and that they may choose Ways of Peace and abandon the madness of war.
We pray to the Lord.

For Pope Francis who constantly offers the world a message of hope through Jesus’ Gospel of forgiveness and the new life offered by Jesus to all through His Resurrection.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and all the Canadian bishops as they walk the path of reconciliation and call the whole Canadian church to pray and proclaim the gospel through unity and example.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, the elderly and for families who bear the greatest burden of uncontrolled inflation which profits the very rich and absentee landlords and corporate leadership.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren who need and deserve even greater witness from us in how to live the gospel and embrace a lifestyle of simplicity and compassion.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who are ill and suffer in mind or in body or in spirit and for their families and caregivers.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Audrey Blanchard, Evelyn Hogan, Theresa Morris, Barbara Anne Roy, Hermel Desjardins, Tony Gautreau, Andrew Arseneau, Daniel Pastirik; and for the comfort and healing of each person who is mourning someone they love.
We pray to the Lord.
