CWL Meeting

Reminder: A Special Meeting of the Holy Redeemer CWL will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, May 18, 1:00 pm, in the Church. Please enter through the ramp entrance, wear a mask, and sit in designated pews.

The purpose of the meeting is to complete Instructed Votes from National as well as vote for the Provincial Executive.

Adoration Cancellation

Due to a funeral, there will be no Adoration today, Monday, May 17, at St. Pius X Church. As next Monday, May 24, is the Victoria Day holiday, there will be no Adoration next week either. We apologize for any inconvenience these cancellations may cause.

For Bishop Christian as he leads the prayer and reflection on the last day of the Ecumenical Novena to the Holy Spirit in union with Pope Francis.
We pray to the Lord.

For frequent and regular recitation of the Rosary in families and by people living alone during the month of May in this Year dedicated to Mary’s Spouse, Saint Joseph.
We pray to the Lord.

For the success of the many efforts and prayers on behalf of unborn children and mothers in distress and for a change of heart for those who try to silence those who speak for life.
We pray to the Lord.

For all health care workers and for the success of the vaccination program against COVID so that people may once again reunite with families, friends and fellow parishioners.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who are ill and for people trapped in addictions and for their families.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Marion DeGruchy, Alice Cox-Caunter, Walter Williams, Ronnie Madore, Shirley Doucette, Elmer Gallant, Jerry Gallant, Justin Arsenault, Shirley Butler, Tina Belliveau-Moore, Tony Montague; that they will join Jesus whose Ascension and return to our Father we celebrate today.
