Prayers Of The Faithful – January 2
For Pope Francis, Bishop Christian and all who lead Christ’s Church that their ministry and preaching will reveal Christ’s forgiveness and love and His presence in the world.
We pray to the Lord.
For the Church in Canada as she seeks reconciliation and forgiveness; that her heritage of healthcare, healing, education and care for the poor will be rediscovered in service to all.
We pray to the Lord.
That Christ will be comfort and companion to the elderly, forgiving friend and humble servant to parents, spouses and young adults, joy and enthusiasm and a constant friend for our children and a source of unending life and hope for all of us.
We pray to the Lord.
For renewed apostolic activity among all our lay faithful so that Christ may be revealed in all that we do and say.
We pray to the Lord.
For all who are in need of Christ’s healing and closeness, especially those who are ill at home or in hospital, for those who are confined to nursing and special care, for people lost in addiction and for anyone who has lost a reason to hope.
We pray to the Lord.
For the faithful departed: Rev. Sam Diotte, John McLaughlin, Dick Wade, Delema Comeau, Bill Boucher, Gladys McGrath, Gemma Haggarty; and for family and friends who mourn their passing.
We pray to the Lord.

Prayers Of The Faithful – January 1
For peace throughout the whole world and for a renewed reverence and respect for each human life.
We pray to the Lord.
For the intercession of Mary, the Queen of Peace, in turning the hearts and minds of all heads of state and leaders of government to value the lives of the poor and powerless over the privileged.
We pray to the Lord.
For our province and city as we begin a new civil year that hope and possibility will replace the hardship and isolation of 2021.
We pray to the Lord.
For a renewal of our parish life as we encourage each other and witness to the power of Christ’s love and forgiveness to our friends, families and coworkers.
We pray to the Lord.
For a reawakening among the young of the privilege and joy of serving the Church as priests and religious.
We pray to the Lord.
For each one here who has resolved to make this New Year a time for personal renewal and healthier living.
We pray to the Lord.
For the faithful departed: Rev. Sam Diotte, John McLaughlin, Dick Wade, Delema Comeau, Bill Boucher, Gladys McGrath, Gemma Haggarty; and for those who mourn.
We pray to the Lord.
