The CWL would like to say “Thank You” to all who helped make our first Book Sale a success: volunteers who set up and worked, our shoppers, and especially those who donated the books. Because of everyone’s efforts, we were able to raise $861.50. Stay tuned for our next event in November, our Annual Cookie Walk.

Wildfire Relief Fundraiser

The St. Pius X Church Martha Guild will host a “Northwest Territories Wildfire Relief Fundraiser” tomorrow, Saturday, September 30, from 4 pm – 6 pm in the parish hall. They will serve 2 Grilled hot dogs with onions, chips, bottled water, and ice cream. All for only $10. There will also be a Bake Sale and a 50/50 draw. Please come and support this worthy cause.

Any donations of home cooking can be dropped off at the hall tomorrow after 2 pm.

Book & Puzzle Sale

The Holy Redeemer CWL is hosting a Book & Puzzle Sale on Friday, September 22, 10 am – 4 pm, and again on Saturday, September 23, 10 am – 3 pm. All items cost $1.

The CWL will continue to accept donations of books and puzzles that are in good condition up until Tuesday, September 19. Please call the parish office (506-653-6830) before bringing your items to the church.

Religious Education

Reminder: Religious Education classes will begin Sunday, September 24 in the Parish Hall.

Grades 1 – 5 will be Sunday mornings from 9:50 -10:50 am

Grades 6 – 8 will be on Sunday evenings from 6:15 – 7:15 pm

Grade 9 will be on Sunday evenings 7:30 – 8:30 pm

Registration for all grades will be held after Sunday morning Masses on September 17.

Grade 1 students are asked to bring a copy of their Baptism certificate when they register.
