We are saddened to inform you of the death of Bishop J. Edward Troy, the 10th Bishop of Saint John, who died peacefully this morning. Please keep Bishop Troy and his family in your prayers. We will provide funeral details when they become available.
We are preparing the April – June Eucharistic Ministers’ Schedule. If you know that you will be unavailable at any point during those months, please contact the parish office (653-6830 or stpiusx@nb.aibn.com) by Tuesday, March 14, so that we can adjust the schedule accordingly.
Our St. Patrick’s Lunch will be served on Friday, March 17, to the accompaniment of Del Worden & guests. Chowder, Soup, rolls, and perhaps some green dessert will be available in our parish hall between 12 noon and 2:00 pm. The cost is $10 per person, with proceeds going to our Outreach Program. Come and join us.
On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm during Lent, Deacon Stephen will lead the Stations of the Cross. The Stations allow us to draw closer to Christ in His passion and to join our suffering with His. Please enter the church through the parking lot entrance or ramp entrance.
The monthly meeting of the CWL will be held on Tuesday, February 28, at 1 pm, in the parish hall. All members are invited to attend. (Please note the change in time.)
FINAL WEEKEND: Our Daily Bread Cereal Drive (In Memory of Maggie Nugent) concludes this Sunday, February 26. This cereal will assist the breakfast program at St. Francis-Hazen White School. Cereal may be brought in at all Masses this weekend and left near the Baptism font at the front of the church. The cereal will be delivered to the school on Monday, February 27. The students are always grateful for your ongoing support.
Lent begins on February 22. Mass will be celebrated at 9 am & 7 pm with the distribution of ashes. Mass will be available online at 4 pm for those unable to join us in person.
You can still join Deacon Stephen as he leads a 7-week video series called The Search, an engaging video series that asks questions about life and faith. Following the video there will be small group discussion.
We gather on Sunday evenings from 6:45 pm – 8:00 pm in the basement of Holy Redeemer Parish. Note: please use the entrance on the parking lot side of the church.
