Due to the Saint John region reverting to the “Orange Phase” of COVID-19 recovery, we are CANCELLING ALL INVITATIONS to weekend Masses at St. Pius X Church/Holy Redeemer Parish for Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22.

On Saturday morning we will send out a very limited number of new invitations to weekend Masses. The number of people allowed to be in the church has been reduced, so only those who receive this new invitation will be able to attend Mass in person.

Msgr. Henneberry will be distributing Communion in the parking lot after the Saturday, 4 pm and Sunday, 11 am Masses for those not able to attend Mass in person.

We will be recording the 4 pm Mass on Saturday as usual, and it will be available to watch on our website by 9 am on Sunday morning.

A letter from Bishop Riesbeck regarding the Saint John region returning to Orange.

Due to the province putting the Saint John region back into the Orange Phase, many of the Mass invitations sent out for this weekend will have to be cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Beginning on November 30, Fr. Peter Stephen will be celebrating a weekly Holy Hour of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Benediction each Monday from 3 pm – 4 pm at St. Pius X Church/Holy Redeemer Parish. Note: Please use the front entrance; doors will open at 2:45 pm.

As with our Masses, pre-registration in order to attend is MANDATORY. You will receive an email or phone call from the parish weekly letting you know if you are able to attend.

You can still contribute to our annual Christmas Basket collection.

Please enclose your donations in an envelope marked “Christmas Baskets” and place them in the collection. Please remember to include your name or envelope number on the envelope.

Holy Redeemer will send all of the donations we receive to the Christmas Exchange, who will distribute the funds among the few agencies able to take applications this year.

UPDATE: There have been some delays in our ongoing hall renovations. As a result, Religious Education classes will not resume until January. The exact date will be announced after Christmas.
