“Officially” our Christmas Mass will be available to watch at any time after 9 am on Christmas morning in all of the usual spots – here on our website, YouTube and Facebook. However, since the Mass is being filmed on December 24, we hope that it will be online by mid-evening on Christmas Eve, just as soon as the editing process is completed.
In light of Saint John continuing at the COVID orange level, and with Christmas fast approaching, Fr. Peter Stephen has decided to postpone the start of Monday Adoration at St. Pius X/Holy Redeemer until the new year. We expect to announce the start date early in January.
With both the Saint John and Fredericton regions currently in the orange level of COVID-19, Fr. Melanson has decided to cancel the First Saturday Latin Mass scheduled for December 5.
Conditions permitting, the next Latin Mass will be held on Saturday, January 2, at 10 am.
Reminder: Msgr. Henneberry will be distributing Communion in the church parking lot after the 4 pm Mass on Saturday and the 11 am Mass on Sunday.
Invitations have been extended for our weekend Masses. Unfortunately, if you didn’t receive an email or phone call from us today, that means that you are not able to attend. As you know, the number of people allowed in the church is reduced due to the current COVID level in Saint John. Should we receive any cancellations, we will send out additional invitations.
