Bishop Riesbeck will be leading a mission at the Cathedral from Monday, November 27 – Wednesday, November 29.
Each evening will begin with Mass at 7 pm, followed by a talk on the following themes:
Monday, November 27 – Know Jesus
Tuesday, November 28 – Grow in relationship with Jesus and one another in love
Wednesday, November 29 – Go and make disciples of all nations
Refreshments follow each session in the Cathedral rectory.

Owen Burns, EV for Pastoral Services, invite all Priests, Religious Education Coordinators, and Parish Lay Leaders to attend an information session on Alpha in the Catholic Context with special guest presenter Ed Zadeiks of Alpha Canada. Join them on Wednesday, October 25, at 6:30 p.m., at the Villa Madonna Retreat House, 115 Villa Madonna Road, Rothesay.

Holy Redeemer will be participating in a parish survey about discipleship conducted by the Catholic Leadership Institute. We need your help.
Please help us by participating in a 10-15 minute survey online. The survey can be accessed through an online link from November 21 – December 18 and will ask you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and enable you to provide feedback on our parish’s efforts to help you grow. All responses will be confidential and the parish will only receive information about the community as whole. We will share the link with you a bit closer to the launch of the survey.
We are trying to get the highest response rate possible. This information will be invaluable to Msgr. Henneberry and our various ministries as we plan for the future and strive to be the best disciples we can be. We will receive the results next spring/summer at which time we will share what we have learned with the entire parish.
If you prefer a paper copy you may pick up a paper copy of the survey after daily and Sunday Masses. They will be located at all entrances. To submit the completed paper survey, please drop off in the collection basket or at the parish office. To make special arrangements for getting a paper copy, please contact parish office (506-653-6830).

The Holy Redeemer CWL will hold its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 10, at 1 p.m. in the parish hall. The CWL invites all members and prospective members to attend.
Due to Thanksgiving weekend, there will be no Religious Education classes on Sunday, October 8. Classes will resume on Sunday, October 15.
There will be no 9 am Mass tomorrow, Thursday, October 5.
The CWL would like to say “Thank You” to all who helped make our first Book Sale a success: volunteers who set up and worked, our shoppers, and especially those who donated the books. Because of everyone’s efforts, we were able to raise $861.50. Stay tuned for our next event in November, our Annual Cookie Walk.
The St. Pius X Church Martha Guild will host a “Northwest Territories Wildfire Relief Fundraiser” tomorrow, Saturday, September 30, from 4 pm – 6 pm in the parish hall. They will serve 2 Grilled hot dogs with onions, chips, bottled water, and ice cream. All for only $10. There will also be a Bake Sale and a 50/50 draw. Please come and support this worthy cause.
Any donations of home cooking can be dropped off at the hall tomorrow after 2 pm.
