For Pope Francis as he continues to invite youth to be active in the life of the Church and to be agents of hope and forgiveness.

For a stable peace in our world in these days when countries are in danger of falling into a war.

For young people throughout the world, and especially in our own Diocese and parish, on this World Youth Day that encourages young people to see Christ as Lord and King.

For the poor, especially families, as economic challenges continue to increase and threaten their health and security.

For Pope Francis in his constant rejection of war and his daily work and prayer on behalf of refugees as he provides for them and finds safe passages for them and as he consecrates the people of Ukraine and Russia to Mary on March 25th.

For the intercession and protection of Saint Joseph, patron of our country, as we celebrate his feast, and as the millions of Canadians threatened by inflation and profiteering seek his aid, and as our Aboriginal groups prepare to meet Pope Francis.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian beginning the ninth year of his Episcopal ministry and as he renews his prayers and energies in drawing our Diocesan family more closely together through Jesus who brings us to the Father.

For people still suffering lingering effects of COVID and its impact on our healthcare system and for all the sick in need of prayers.
