Christmas Basket Donations

You still have time to contribute towards our Christmas Baskets. There are pink envelopes marked “Christmas Dinners for Needy Families” available at all entrances. We also accept e-transfers sent to stpiusx@nb.aibn.com – please note “Christmas Baskets” in the message/memo section. You can also drop off your donation to the parish office.

Christmas Flowers

Memorial donations are being accepted to assist with the purchase of flowers during the Christmas season. Donations can be placed in the collection using an envelope marked “Flowers”. Please include the names of those who will be remembered during our Christmas Masses. Please also include your own name and envelope number for income tax purposes. The deadline for donations is Sunday, December 14.

Prayers Of The Faithful – December 7

For Pope Leo as the Church celebrates our love for Mary and our belief in her Immaculate Conception on December 8th.

For our Diocesan family as we celebrate our Patronal Feast, the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary and for our Bishop, Christian, as he begins his seventh year as our chief pastor and shepherd.
We pray to the Lord.

For our country and the many needs of her citizens and for ongoing reconciliation with the Indigenous Peoples of all the Americas.

For all people in need, especially those who will be receiving from your generous offerings to our Christmas Baskets.

For the many people who are ill and especially those who experience depression and discouragement at this time.

Diocesan Feast Day

Bishop Riesbeck invites you to a Mass in celebration of our diocesan feast day, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, on Monday, December 8, 6:30 pm, at the Cathedral. During the Mass, eight individuals from around the Diocese who have contributed to the life of the church will receive Bishop Dollard Medals of Merit. A reception will follow.
