Prayers Of The Faithful – Holy Thursday, April 14
For the Church as we recall Jesus’ gift of Himself in the Eucharist in His example of service and in the Holy Priesthood.
We pray to the Lord.
For the world who needs the presence of Jesus in the Church to help nations break free of the cycle of war and violence and oppression of the poor by the very wealthy.
We pray to the Lord.
For our children and grandchildren that they will learn from us the comfort, healing, forgiveness, strength and grace they can receive from sharing in the Eucharist.
We pray to the Lord.
For the sick and elderly that they will draw strength and comfort in recalling Jesus’ solidarity with them during His time of agony in the garden.
We pray to the Lord.
For all of our deceased relatives, friends and members of our parish that they may rejoice this night at the table in heaven.
We pray to the Lord.
