Prayers Of The Faithful – May 21
For Pope Francis and for the millions of people he assists through the activities funded by generous contributors today.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan Family as we rejoice on this Feast of the Ascension and continue to discover the presence of our Risen Lord in the world around us.
We pray to the Lord.
For people who work in the many fields of communication that they will promote values that lead to a more fully human society and that everyone will shield the young and vulnerable from anything that is untrue or contrary to the gospel.
We pray to the Lord.
For oppressed and persecuted members of the Church, especially in China, as we pray for them on May 24th.
We pray to the Lord.
For the poor, especially children and families, and a more equitable sharing of the riches and bounty of our country.
We pray to the Lord.
For the sick and for any who have asked for our prayers.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Josephine (Jo) Burke, Tom Coughlan, Ann Marie Shea, Frank Ainsworth, Joye Robichaud; and for their families.
We pray to the Lord.
