Prayers Of The Faithful – September 18

For Pope Francis, a constant and passionate advocate for the poor, for the homeless and for families, that God will strengthen him and sustain him.
We pray to the Lord.

For King Charles, that Christ the King will enlighten him and strengthen him as he begins his role of service to Canada.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian as he leads our Diocesan family in renewing our faith, encountering Christ through the Eucharist and reaching out to others and inviting them to faith in Jesus.
We pray to the Lord.

For expectant mothers and for their unborn children.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor and the homeless and for workers and small businesses who are struggling in a time of inflation and greed.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who are sick at home or in hospital and for health care workers and their families.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Josephine Whalen, Patricia Hanlon, Lloyd McGrath, David Marsden, Carey Ryan; and for their families.
