Meeting

The Martha Guild will be holding a meeting in the parish hall tomorrow, Sunday, September 15, following the 11 am Mass. New members are always needed; both men and women are welcome. If you are interested in finding out more about this group and all the work they do for our parish, please plan to attend.

Prayers Of The Faithful – September 15

For Pope Francis, Bishop Christian and all pastors in the Church.
We pray to the Lord.

For the Church throughout the world, especially where the Church is suppressed and persecuted by government.
We pray to the Lord.

For our Diocesan Church as parish families prepare to resume Religious Education Programs, outreach to the poor and evangelization to those in search of Jesus and the truth.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren, especially those who have started school or studies away from home.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor and homeless and for people and groups offering them assistance and who are advocates for them.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who are ill at home or in hospital and for spouses and families who provide care for loved ones with dementia.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Robert Capson, Venienne Regenbogen, Jeannine Marie Vautour, Donna Martell, Cora Bourque, Mary Eva Moore; for families in mourning.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor, especially families and children, and for the growing number of homeless people.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren, especially those facing challenges in school or in university and college.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who are ill and for their families and caregivers.
We pray to the Lord.

For people addicted to alcohol, drugs or addictive behaviour that they may come to believe that God can restore them to health and sanity.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Ken Gionet, Elizabeth Darling, Margaret McEachreon, Robert Johnson, Mary Ann Stevens.

School Supplies

Reminder: Don’t forget to bring your school supplies with you to Mass this weekend.

The CWL is collecting school supplies for students. Any donations will be appreciated and can be placed in bags at all entrances. Some suggested items are Glue sticks, dry erase markers, pencils, erasers, markers, notebooks, etc. The deadline for donations is tomorrow, Sunday, September 8.
