Prayers Of The Faithful – March 10

For Pope Francis, Bishop Christian and the Church throughout the world during the month of March, dedicated to St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church and of Canada.
We pray to the Lord.

For an end to the many senseless conflicts around the world.
We pray to the Lord.

For the protection of unborn children and children who face physical and emotional challenges and for their parents.
We pray to the Lord.

For families and family life and for a strengthening of faith for all spouses and parents.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor who continue to bear the greatest burden from greed in the marketplace.
We pray to the Lord.

For the sick and their families and caregivers.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Leo Ouellette, Ronald Wallace, Margaret Rose (Meggy) Griffin, Mary Lorraine Butler, Robert Pierce, Kevin Harris; and for people in mourning.
We pray to the Lord.

Easter Flowers

Donations towards Easter Flowers in memory of loved ones may be placed in an envelope and dropped in the offertory until Sunday, March 24. Please put your name and envelope number, together with the name(s) of those being remembered, on the outside of the envelope. Your loved ones will be prayed for at the 11 am Mass on Easter Sunday, and remembered at all Masses during the Easter season.

You can also make your donation via e-Transfer using stpiusx@nb.aibn.com as the contact. Please add the names of your loved ones in the message field.

St. Patrick’s Lunch

Our annual St. Patrick’s Day Lunch will be served on Friday, March 15, to the accompaniment of Del Worden & guests. Chowder, Soup, rolls, and dessert will be available in our parish hall between 12 noon and 2 pm. The cost is $12 per person. Come and join us.
