The majority of the organ has now been removed from the choir loft.
There has been incredible progress over the last week. Only a small portion of the organ’s structure remains for removal.
You might recognize these pieces. When you looked up into the choir loft, these were on either side of the organ console. If they look a little off, it’s because they are upside down at the moment.
This very large section of wood was at the very center of the pipe organ.
Weren’t able to be with us on the weekend? Here is the Gospel and Msgr. Henneberry’s homily from the Mass at St. Pius X Church / Holy Redeemer Parish on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

Rear view of the organ console. The console has now been removed from the balcony to the main floor of the church.
The organ’s console (the part you play) was designed to come apart. This is the front of the console now that the keyboards and outer panels have been removed.
