Prayers Of The Faithful – February 21

For Pope Francis who has invited us to see Lent as a journey back to God and an opportunity to grow in love for others.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian who reminds us that Lent is a season of Hope; something we need and desire most during these difficult times.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who are persecuted for their faith in God and especially for our fellow Catholics who live under the threat of death or imprisonment.
We pray to the Lord.

For the many people who are still deeply affected by the pandemic and its restrictions and for the health and safety of school children and all students and teachers.
We pray to the Lord.

For families, especially those separated by work and travel restrictions and for the intercession of St. Joseph to assist them.
We pray to the Lord.

For residents of special and long term care facilities and for the sick and elderly in hospital or at home and for people who have asked us to pray for them.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died, especially Donald Babineau, Florence Gallant, Rosaire Couillard, Joan Burgess, Gladys Williams, Murray Bailey, Jeannette Landry, Stan Amirault, Ruth McMackin. And for every person and family in mourning.
We pray to the Lord.
