Prayers Of The Faithful – October 3
For Pope Francis who shows us how to live with simplicity and moderation and yet find reasons for gratitude and joy in the midst of current hardships and sadness.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian and the priests of the Diocese who will enter into their yearly retreat, animated by Fr. Mark Cherry.
We pray to the Lord.
For the many families and individuals enduring great hardship in our country and around the world from the pandemic, natural disaster and extreme weather and for so many who are weary of civil war and persecution for their faith.
We pray to the Lord.
For renewal in praying the Rosary, individually and with others, as we celebrate Our Lady of the Rosary on her feast and recall the many great favours and victories obtained by this prayer.
We pray to the Lord.
For a strengthening of marriage and family life and for families under great pressures or temporarily separated and especially for children in these situations.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Sally Cusack, Bernice Martin, Allan McGuire, Alyre Malley, Sheila Whittaker; that God will grant them refreshment, light and peace in His kingdom and graciously comfort and heal those in mourning.
We pray to the Lord.
