Prayers Of The Faithful – May 23
For Pope Francis, a clear voice for peace, unity, hope and faith in the midst of our world’s conflicts, divisions and disregard for life.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family as we celebrate a hopeful Pentecost and welcome a new form of preparing our children for Confirmation and an apostolic faith.
We pray to the Lord.
For a safe celebration of this holiday weekend and continuing progress in our efforts to control the COVID pandemic.
We pray to the Lord.
For our relatives and friends who are ill at home or in hospital and for all people affected by substance abuse and addiction to destructive behaviours.
We pray to the Lord.
For all women, especially those who are expecting a child or caring for children on their own as we continue to celebrate May, the month of Mary our Mother.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Deacon Bob Freill, Paul Cummings, Anna Marie O’Pray, Justin Arsenault, Ronald Wisted, Gordon Rhinehart; that God will gather them around the banquet table of Heaven.
We pray to the Lord.
