Prayers Of The Faithful – May 12

For Pope Francis and the whole Church on the Feast of Ascension that asks us to look for Jesus’ presence in one another.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and the Bishops of Canada as they lead us in a week of prayer for Family and Life.
We pray to the Lord.

For our Mothers and Grandmothers as we celebrate Mother’s Day, that God will bless those still with us and lavish His love on those who are with Him in Eternity.
We pray to the Lord.

For children and families who are hungry and for people who are homeless and for people who work to help them.
We pray to the Lord.

For the priests of the Diocese as they begin their Retreat at Villa Madonna on Monday.
We pray to the Lord.

For all who are sick and their families and for health care workers and spiritual care workers as we mark Canada Health Day.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Bill Crowley, Dora Robichaud, Judith Galbraith, Dawn Marie Larsen, Carol Fitzpatrick, Gerald Maher, Charles Gabriel, Claudia Boucher, Karen Arseneault, Barbara Brown (sister of Fr. John Beaumaster); and for their families.
