Prayers Of The Faithful – November 3

For Pope Francis as he prays this month for parents who have lost a child.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family as we pray for our deceased family members and friends during November.
We pray to the Lord.

For the poor and homeless, especially families, as falling temperatures increase their need for assistance.
We pray to the Lord.

For families and caregivers who give comfort and support to those who are dying until the moment of their natural death.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who are ill and in need of our prayers.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Sister Mary Ann McHugh SCIC, Paul Riley, Anthony Dorey, Charlotte LeBlanc, Dianne McCluskey, Dakota Kyffin, Mertiece Daly, Theresa Roy; and for each person whose name has been lovingly entered in our Book of Remembrance.
We pray to the Lord.

Youth Ministry

Reminder: Jim Anderson of the Diocese of Saint John will facilitate a day of prayer, discernment, and discussion about youth ministry this Saturday, November 2, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm, at St. Francois de Sales church, 77 Ragged Point Road. It is for anyone interested in discussing initiatives regarding evangelizing young people in our parishes. It is open to current and new people interested in building youth groups in parishes. For Pope Francis and the whole Church as the current session of the Synod of Bishops concludes this weekend.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family, that we will always look to Christ to teach us forgiveness and mercy.
We pray to the Lord.

For our children and grandchildren and for the safety of all children, especially those who are studying away from home.
We pray to the Lord.

For people living with addictions to alcohol or drugs and for their families who are suffering with them.
We pray to the Lord.

For people in hospital and for anyone awaiting surgery, treatment or diagnosis and for all health care workers.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Rev. Bill Comerford, CSsR, Patricia Delvallet, Bernie McCarthy, Jackie Martin, Pat Dowd, Denis Gauthier, Jim MacIsaac, Joseph LeBlanc, Carol-Anne Holmes-Lauder; and for all the faithful departed.
