The CWL would like to thank its’ members and all parishioners who donated to our recent “Back To School Supplies” drive. Your generosity allowed us to provide many school items to the students of St. Francis-Hazen White School.

Religious Education
Reminder: Religious Education classes will begin Sunday, September 24 in the Parish Hall.
Grades 1 – 5 will be Sunday mornings from 9:50 -10:50 am
Grades 6 – 8 will be on Sunday evenings from 6:15 – 7:15 pm
Grade 9 will be on Sunday evenings 7:30 – 8:30 pm
Registration for all grades will be held after Sunday morning Masses on September 10 & 17.
Grade 1 students are asked to bring a copy of their Baptism certificate when they register.

Prayers Of The Faithful – September 10
For Pope Francis and Bishops and Priests in the church who exercise authority in their care for souls.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family that we may share with others what we know, in faith, to be true.
We pray to the Lord.
For the candidates from Atlantic Canada beginning their studies this week for the Permanent Diaconate.
We pray to the Lord.
For the thousands of Canadians left homeless by disaster and for the efforts to assist them in rebuilding and their return home.
We pray to the Lord.
For the children of our parish and for the teachers preparing to receive them into our Religious Education program.
We pray to the Lord.
For the poor, the homeless and the countless hungry families.
We pray to the Lord.
For any who are ill and in need of healing.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Joan Mawhinney (mother of Fr.
