It is time to think of those who need help with Christmas dinners. As in previous years, we are looking for help with donations. We have placed pink envelopes marked “Christmas Dinners For Needy Families” on the tables at all entrances. We encourage you to use one of these pink envelopes when you donate. If there are any questions, please call the parish office (653-6830). If possible, we would like to have all donations in by the end of November.
For Pope Francis as he continues to bear the burden of painful physical challenges while faithfully bearing witness to Jesus.
We pray to the Lord.
For all the poor around the world, and especially those among us, as we observe the World Day of the Poor this Sunday.
We pray to the Lord.
For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family of faith as we approach the end of the Liturgical Year and reflect on the Gospel of St. Luke, that we may endure in faithfulness.
We pray to the Lord.
For our children and grandchildren, growing up in a world of international conflicts, economic uncertainty and disregard for human life, that they will embrace the faith we give and teach them and draw their hope and confidence from God.
We pray to the Lord.
For any who are ill at home or in hospital or care homes, and for people who suffer from mental illness or addiction, and for their families.
We pray to the Lord.
For those who have died: Donald Durant, Betty Mackin, Madelyn Ramier, Rose-Marie LeBlanc, Joyce Curran; and especially for each person whose name is entered in our Book of Remembrance and for those who have no one left to pray for them.
We pray to the Lord.
The monthly meeting of the Holy Redeemer CWL will be held in the parish hall on Monday, November 14, at 2 pm. All members are invited to attend.
The parish office will be closed on Friday, November 11, as we remember all those who gave their lives for our freedom.
