Prayers Of The Faithful – September 17

For Pope Francis and for the Church throughout the world.
We pray to the Lord.

For our country and for the many who work to help the poor and come to the aid of victims of natural disasters.
We pray to the Lord.

For Bishop Christian and our Diocesan family of faith.
We pray to the Lord.

For families preparing for their children to begin a new term of Religious Education classes and for our faithful teachers.
We pray to the Lord.

For young men and women, that they may recognize a call to priesthood and religious life in the many needs of people and our whole society.
We pray to the Lord.

For people who feel crushed by prices for food and shelter, especially families with children and seniors living alone.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Mary Anne Keleher, Vernon Hunt, Jim Daley, Keith Chamberlain, Rose Daigle, Carol Ann Beckingham; and for people who are mourning the death of a family member or friend.
We pray to the Lord.

Religious Education

Reminder: Religious Education classes will begin Sunday, September 24 in the Parish Hall.

Grades 1 – 5 will be Sunday mornings from 9:50 -10:50 am

Grades 6 – 8 will be on Sunday evenings from 6:15 – 7:15 pm

Grade 9 will be on Sunday evenings 7:30 – 8:30 pm

Registration for all grades will be held after Sunday morning Masses on September 17.

Grade 1 students are asked to bring a copy of their Baptism certificate when they register.
