Prayers Of The Faithful – October 8

For Pope Francis and all those participating in the current synod that they will help the faithful to appreciate the doctrines of our faith and our tradition.
We pray to the Lord.

In thanksgiving for our Bishop, Christian, and for our Diocesan family of faith.
We pray to the Lord.

In thanksgiving for our country, Canada and all her natural riches, that they may be shared more equitably, especially with families.
We pray to the Lord.

In thanksgiving for families who bring new life into the world and nurture children and give us hope.
We pray to the Lord.

In thanksgiving for families and health workers who care for, and heal the sick.
We pray to the Lord.

For any special needs and intentions you have brought here today and for the people you carry in your hearts and memory.
We pray to the Lord.

For those who have died: Joseph Stephen, Marjorie Donovan, Eleanor Casey, Sr. Isabella Geddes Fyvie, SCIC; and for anyone mourning the death of a family member or friend.
